Your Initial Visit with Us

We will begin by reviewing your medical history thoroughly. We look at you as a whole person and not just your pain symptoms. Our comprehensive examination may include advanced X-ray analysis. From these, we can show you exactly what’s happening with your body.

Next, we will schedule you to return so Dr. O’Desky can review all of his findings with you.

You can prepare for this visit by planning on being here for about an hour, and bring a list of any medications or supplements that you’re taking.

Come in ready to learn and feel free to take notes, because we’re here to educate you on what is going on with your body, spine and nervous system.

Routine Visits

After your initial visit, follow up visits are performed on a walk-in basis so that you can have the most control over your appointment times. Our hours can accommodate any busy schedule.

Length of Care

So you may be wondering how long you’ll be visiting with us? There is not a uniform answer as every patient has a different injury and response time to chiropractic treatment. We will monitor your improvements and decide together when you have reached maximum chiropractic improvement.

Patients may receive personalized instructional home care programs designed to assist our patients throughout their recovery process. Personalized programs that are designed to help speed recovery restore strength and mobility and improve posture. We provide instructions on range of motion exercises as well as education for the use of any ice and heat applications.

Relief Care

If you are in pain when you come into our Lynn chiropractic center, our first objective is to help you reduce pain and start feeling better as soon as possible. Depending on the severity of the underlying condition which is causing your pain, we are here to help.

Corrective/Restorative Care

During the corrective phase of chiropractic care, muscles and other soft tissues are allowed to heal more completely; which helps prevent re-injury. The goal of corrective or restorative chiropractic care is to help bring your body back to 100% functioning. It is typical to need chiropractic care or adjustments from time-to-time, depending on the injury and your overall health and the severity of your problem.

Wellness Care

Once your body has fully healed and you are no longer experiencing back pain or other pain symptoms, it is important to return periodically for chiropractic adjustments to avoid re-injury or any further problems in the future. It is recommended that you follow-up with your chiropractor in order to ensure proper strength and that range of motion is sustained.
